 
| B I O G R A F I AHa compiuto gli studi accademici presso la "University of North Carolina" (USA), lo "American Institute of Musical Studies" di Graz (Austria) e la "Hochshule für Musik und Theater" di Hannover. Dopo cinque anni di permanente collaborazione musicale allo "Stadttheater di Heidelberg" (Germania), ha scelto la strada della libera professione artistica. Tournee teatrali e concerti l'hanno portata a cantare sui palcoscenici di varie città europee come Asburgo, Brema, Karlsruhe, Colonia, Mannheim, Milano (Concerti RAI), München (Gärtnerplatz), Parma (Festival di Verdi), Hessische Rundfunk (Radio), ed altri. Durante tali tournee ha avuto l'opportunità di collaborare musicalmente con conduttori di fama internazionale come Georg Fischer, Thomas Kalb, Michael Luig, Jean-Claude Malgoire, Miguel Gomez-Martinez, Erich Wächter ed altri. Una forte passione e devozione per Mozart e la sua musica ha portato la Fitts-Maddaloni a compiere più di un centinaio di rappresentazioni di "Regina della notte", Concerti e Gala dedicati al compositore austriaco. Ma il suo amore principale è l'opera italiana ed interpretare ruoli di Lucia di Lammermoor, Norina, Musetta, Fiorilla e tanti altri. Attualmente, al centro dei suoi interessi vi è la preparazione per il debutto nei ruoli, sempre amati, di Violetta e Zerbinetta nei prossimi anni. |

Nach fünf Jahren fest Engagement in der Stadttheater Heidelberg, wählte sie den Weg der freischaffende Künstlerin. Operngastspiele und Konzertreisen haben sie schon an Bühnen wie Augsburg, Bremen, Karlsruhe, Köln, Mannheim, Milano (RAI Konzerte), München (Gärtnerplatz), Parma (Verdi Festspiele), Hessische Rundfunk, u.a. geführt. Sie hatte damit Gelegenheit mit internationalen Musikdirektoren wie Georg Fischer, Thomas Kalb, Michael Luig, Jean-Claude Malgoire, Miguel Gomez-Martinez, Erich Wächter, u.a. zu arbeiten. Schon mehr als Hundert Vorstellungen als Königin der Nacht, Konzerte und Galas, zeugen für die Ergebenheit an Mozarts Musik. Sie liebt die italienische Opera und in Rollen wie Lucia di Lammermoor, Norina, Musetta, Fiorilla und andere, aufzutreten. In Zentrum ihren künstlerischen Interessen steht die Vorbereitung ihres Debüts als Violetta und Zerbinetta. |

| B I O G R A P H YShe has studied at the University of North Carolina, the American Institute of Musical Studies in Graz, Austria and at the College of Music und Theater in Hannover, Germany. After five years with the Theater der Stadt Heidelberg, she decided in 1987 to advance her career as an independent Artist. As guest soloist on opera stages and in concert halls, Mrs Fitts-Maddaloni has appeared in Augsburg, Bremen, Essen, Karlsruhe, Köln, Mannheim, München (Gärtnerplatz), and with Hessische Radio in Germany; in Milan (RAI Concerts),Parma (Verdi Festival)in Italy; and with the Freistadt Castle Festival and Klagenfurt in Austria. She has collaborated with many internationally famous conductors including: David Effron, Georg Fischer, Markus Fohr, Hilary Griffiths, Thomas Kalb, Michale Luig, Jean-Claude Malgoire, Miguel Gomez-Martinez, Caspar Richter, Erich Wächter, David Yoram. With over one hundred performances as Queen of the night in "The Magic Flute" in her still young career and numerous Mozart concerts and galas, her devotion to the composer is well-known. Ellen is also dedicated to Italian opera as proven by her performances in all the leading roles in Tosca, Lucia di Lammermoor, Don Pasquale, La Bohème, The Turk in Italy, among others. At the center of her artistic interest is now the expansion of her repertoire to debut in the roles of Violetta and Zerbinetta. |
